Virtual School Supply Drive for 2020-2021 Academic Year
As you may know, every year Dominic’s Ripple holds a school supply drive for families in our community. While many schools are closed due to COVID-19, we understand there is still a need for supplies in order for students to continue their education remotely. Dominic’s Ripple would still like to give back to the community and continue with a supply drive this year, using an online method to ensure ease and provide a safe way to gather materials. To do this, we are asking teachers to create a wish list that will be run through CheckTwice. The lists will contain supplies students will need even as they learn from home. This is for student supplies only – not teacher supplies.
The Dominic’s Ripple CheckTwice site is now set up and this will be the method for people to view and purchase materials! Dominic’s Ripple will populate the lists as teachers submit items they’d like through our google form.
We know this school year is going to present a number of challenges for everyone, and we hope this is one way we can continue to provide support for the community.
